| Invitations and the Printing mistakes in it!
Chief Minister announced that-The films which have their Titles in Tamil will get Tax exemptions and lit new lease of Life in the Lives of many Directors. It was demanded by somebody that-They should not see the Titles alone. In fact, they should see the contents of the films also. It is an aspect of consolation that-The members of the Film fraternity are in huge numbers who formally in took and use the encouragements and the discounts offered by the CM.
In this juncture, we should note another issue. The Invitations print by them creates a huge fear that-Just because they get exemption in taxes do they name their film's title in Tamil?
Recently, the Invitations print for many Film functions has been printed in English only. Ok, when we turn the pages of the Invitation on thinking that the Participants of these functions might be Foreigners or so, we realize that all the Participants are the VIPs who belong to our region only. When the truth is like this, what is the reason behind their English craze?
Do they all expect any Discounts or Exemptions for bringing in these changes in our society? |
The word "Nondi (leg-lamed person)" is used in the film "Polladhavan". The handicapped people feel it is insulting them. So the Confederation of the Associations of Handicapped people from Tamilnadu has protested against the usage of the word "Nondi" in this film. Moreover, these Associations have demanded Vetrimaran, the Director of "Polladhavan" film to apologize for this mistake.
