For some people, this might seem like grandeur which is oversized for a growing child. Kamal has shown lots of interest in acting in 10 roles. It could have been better if he had shown appropriate interest in Screenplay. The building looks strong, but, the basement seems to be weak.

The story begins in the 12th century. The Kulothunga Chozhan tries to dislodge the Govindarajar statue from the Chidambaram Temple. Rangarajan Nambi stays as a block for the King’s desire. So, the King hangs and tortures Rangarajan Nambi. In the Saivites-Vaishnavites problem, this Nambi is drowned to death in the sea with the Govindaraja statue. Then the story directly moves to the 21st century without wasting money and time.

The American Scientist KamalaHasan invents a Bio-medical weapon that could kill Crores of people. The Head of these Scientists tries to sell this Bio-medical weapon to the terrorists. KamalaHasan tries to block his Head’s activities. In these confusions, this Virus comes to India. The Villain Kamal and the Scientist Kamal clash with each other for this Bio-medical weapon. The other characters which carry the film are also done by the KamalaHasan himself. It takes little extra time to understand what the story is.

For all the characters, Kamal puts lots of Make-ups. But, he is able to show difference in the voices alone. All his expressions and performances are hidden by the masks on his face. What he can do? Even then, the characters of American President Bush, Poovaraghavan and Balaram Naidu make us to get stunned. The Grandma Kamal comes with the dwarfed height. The scenes related to the Grandma Kamal could have been shot in the long shots itself.

The Asin who comes in the 12th century makes us get sympathized for her. But, the Asin who comes in the 21st century makes us to get angry over her. Her attitude of unwanted yelling of the word “Perumalae Perumalae” and the discussions while clinging on the Train even without getting inside is irritating. Leaving the American culprit Chris Fletcher, the Police Officer Balaram Naidu goes in search of the Scientist Govind. By this, he shows that-He is not just a Comedian Police. He also insults the functioning of the whole Police force.

The dialogues of Kamal are as sharp as the Sword. The Police Officer’s (Kamal) comment about the Azhagiya Singer of the Mutt could irritate many people. Volcano bursts in the dialogues, spoken by the Poovaraghavan character.

In the Technical aspects, they have thrown challenges the Hollywood etc. The Cinematographer Ravivarman stands as tall as the Kamal’s 10 roles. That too, the opening scenes would serve as a throne to the Indian Film History. That too, in the Tsunami scene, the Ravivarman’s Camera work and the Graphics works has joined together to conduct special Magic on the Silver screen.

In the starting scenes, Kamal is punished by being hooked on his shoulders and legs. In spite of these scenes created using graphics, it is very awesome. In the songs, “Kallai Mattum Kandal…” is very fantastic.” Mukundha Mukundha....” is very sweet. When Himesh’s Music is appreciable, there is nothing special in the Devi Shri Prasad’s Back Ground Music.

The Producer Ravichandran has spent lots of money for this film. If they would have used this investment for a proper story and Screenplay, they could have created an evergreen Mega hit.
