The story of the film is how a Guy who aims to become a Police turns as a Rowdy, and how a Rowdy becomes a Police by chance. The important point to be noted is, they both are friends. In the climax, it happens for that Police guy to gun-down his Rowdy friend! What happens in the story is drag….…ged little extra and narrated by Mishkin in the film. Even after the completion of the scenes, the Camera stays in the same location for few seconds. These dragged seconds have changed into minutes and has swallowed lots of reels. (Edit the unwanted scenes with additional guts, please).

When the Sun rises, he goes to the Wine-shop, when finger is raised, he starts to fight. Like this Naren does not have any particular ambitions in life. But Naren’s friend Ajmal has only one aim in his life, which is to become an Inspector in the Police Department. Once, Naren’s father scolds Naren by saying that- “You will not come-up in life at all. See him. He will soon become a Sub-Inspector of Police". So Naren tries some wrong and foul means and attains the Khaki uniform. The situation of the Ajmal, who studies seriously for the Police Exam to get into the Police job, is not able to achieve his dreams. Enmity grows between both these friends who are neighbors. Till the end, Ajmal does not understand the friendship of Naren. But the timing of when he understands his friendship is a shocking timing!.

The guts what Naren has while he is Rowdy disappears, when he wears the Khaki uniform of the Police. Naren's mind is deeply shaken on seeing the persons like the murderer who brings the head of his wife in a sack and brings it to the Police station and shows to the Police and then after seeing the small guy struggling helplessly for his life lying on the road. Above all he gets sad when he sees his own friend sitting in the Police Station with his under wears. In spite of being unable to change totally away from the "Chithiram Pesudhadi" style, he is able to show that he gets trapped by the unfavourable situations which he faces in his life.

Six feet Ajmal comes with a striking look. Till the end, he is shown as a character that faces lots of failures and a guy who is not able to bear those sufferings. He has very finely expressed the situations of being pushed into the life, which is totally against his ambitions, and in a circumstance he makes a 'Phone threat' in full pain, due to his failures.

It is to be accepted that the Actors Prasanna and PandiyaRajan, who have turned as sudden Villains, have threatened everyone to the fullest, particularly Prasanna. Many Heroes will fear and think too much to act in this kind of stories. His lengthy Hair touches his Nose. His looks are like Torchlight looks. We assumed him to be a Chocolate-boy. But, he is like Dynamite!.

Make-up less VijayaLakshmi has shown Make-up less performances also! At least in the last minute, she could have told to her brother that-she lives with the same guy, who has raped her earlier.

In the lengthening story which deals with women-kidnapping and barters for ransoms, every now and then we are able to identify many tantalizing nuances which show the talents of the Director Mishkin. It's touching to see the old lady throwing the Flowers on the Dead man, which she had kept for selling and when she appreciates-"You are a true Policeman"!.

Sundar.C Babu has made us to get mesmerized by his Background Music score. "Kathazha Kannalae" song is another "Vaalameenu Velangumeenu". Magesh Muthuswamy's Cinematography says story in darkness. It's worrying to think about the pitiable situations of watching this film in the Talkies in small villages.

It seems that, the members of the "Anjadhey" film unit should console by saying the name of this film "Anjadhey" (Don't fear) to each other for this film!
