The 125th day function of the film "Malaikottai" was held in Chennai. The Vishal's fans paid their respect to their favourite Hero with a Garland, which was as tall as a normal Human and Ear-deafening whistles.

Without any ego issues, Heroes like Jeyam Ravi, Jeeva participated in this function. That too in Jeyam Ravi's speech there was no artificiality at all. He said-"I know how important it is to conduct a Success function of a film. My father did not conduct even a single Success function for me". On hearing, his father Editor Mohan who was sitting on the stage started laughing continuously. "In today's situation becoming a Hero is no ordinary achievement. That too becoming a successful Hero is not an easy one. And moreover becoming an Action Hero in a very shorter time is more difficult. Vishal has become an Action Hero in a very short time".

Parthiban said-I went to a Sweet shop. I asked, what are all the sweets that are available there? They replied-There is no sweet at all, which is not available here. I asked whether the PriyaMani sweet is available there or not. With shyness overflowing from her face, PriyaMani was found to be overjoyed by these comments.

In this joyous function, it was surprising to see the usually serious A.V.M.Saravanan also, to crack some jokes. While saying about Manobala, he said-"In spite of switching off the T.V., Manobala is seen in it. He has started to act in almost every film now". On hearing this, the whole auditorium clapped very loudly for his comments.

Vishal came to speak at the end. He said-"They write that I love PriyaMani and Nayanthara. Of course, I love. But, I don't love both of them". By this, he kept a full stop for all the rumours which were making rounds for quite sometime.
