They could have better named this film as “Pondicherryil Kaveri”. When the Cinematographer cum Director Ravivarman narrated the story of “Moscowil Kaveri”, he said that-At least 50% of the film should be filmed in Moscow. As the budget of the film “Dasavatharam” started to swell, Moscow was changed into Pondicherry and most of this film was filmed there only.

In between this, Aaskar Ravichandran complained in the Producer’s Association that-Ravivarman has gone to do the Cinematography of the Vijay’s film “Villu” without completing his film. On enquiry, many things come out. He is an Artist, who would get 75 Lakhs for Cinematography alone. As he got the opportunity to direct the film, he has sacrificed the Salary for Direction. As usual, there was no Salary for the Debutant Director. When the film is almost complete, the Producer has withheld a single day’s shooting alone and is not relieving the Cinematographer from the film.

The Director says that-“You say on which day I should come and complete that one day’s work I will complete it and go”. If the problem is solved soon, we can see the Kaveri by our Eyes. However, the matter of surprise in Kollywood is that-In spite of all these problems this film has come out very well!
